Adding a modern touch to any home with an upgraded bathroom design
KitchenWorld designed and installed this stylish bathroom and matching cloakroom for a home in Exminster, creating two beautifully coordinated spaces that combine elegant design with everyday practicality.
The brief was to create a cohesive look throughout both rooms while maximising storage and introducing a more contemporary finish. To achieve this, both the bathroom and cloakroom were fitted with bespoke navy blue vanity units, complemented by striking white marble-effect worktops and matching splashbacks. Each vanity is topped with a modern porcelain basin that gently overhangs the cabinetry, adding a refined, minimalist touch to the overall design.
In the main bathroom, the existing shower was replaced with a spacious walk-in enclosure, finished with large-format grey marble-effect wall panels extending from floor to ceiling. These oversized slabs create a luxurious, seamless appearance while reducing grout lines for easier maintenance. A recessed shower niche was also incorporated into the wall, providing a practical storage solution for shampoos, shower gels and everyday essentials without compromising the clean, uncluttered aesthetic.
By carrying the same materials, colours and design details into both the bathroom and cloakroom, KitchenWorld created a harmonious scheme that feels both sophisticated and functional.
